The itinerary

Day 1Arrival AHMEDABAD

Arrival at Ahmedabad. Meet to Greet and transfer to hotel. Second half sightseeing of the Swetambara temple Hatheesing - was built outside delhi gate in 1850 by a rich jain merchant Sheth Hatheesing. This is the best known of Ahmedabad’s many ornate jain temples. It is dedicated to Dharamnath, the fifteenth Tirthankar whose status stand in the main sanctuary built by pure marble profusely decorated with rich carving, Gandhi Ashram- The beautiful ashram complex of Ahmedabad. This ashram was Gandhi’s headquarters during the long struggle for Indian independence. Overnight stay at Ahmedabad.

Day 2AHMEDABAD-DWARKA (450 kms)

After breakfast drive to Dwarka (450 kms/8 hrs). En route visit Jamnagar, visit of Bala Hanuman Temple is a pilgrim place venerated by the devotees of Lord Ram. It is a world famous temple, known for the continuous chanting of Jai Ram, Shri Ram. The chanting is going on since 1964 and has found a place for it in the Guinness Book of World Records. People chant the name of the Lord in shifts, 24 hours a day. In the evening Aarti Darshan at Dwarkadhish temple. Overnight stay at Dwarka.

Day 3DWARKA

Attend early morning aarti at Dwarkadhish temple. Have your breakfast & there after visit Bet Dwarka & Nageshwar Jyotirling. Bet Dwarka Also known as Bet Shankhoddar, Bet Dwarka is only 5 kms from Okha Junction in sea and Okha is 30 kms from Dwarka. It is said to be the place where Lord Krishna lived with his family when the ruled at Dwarka. It is also the place where Vishnu slew the demon Shankhasura. Visitors make it a point to visit the Krishna temple at this site which holds much of interest to be seen and experienced. Nageswar Mahadev The Puranas mention 12 Jyotirlingas or columns of light representing Lord Shiva, who manifested himself in that form in different parts of India. This shiva shrine near Dwarka is one of these and is there- fore accorded great respect. Rukmanii Temple – Temple of Lord Krishna’s wife Rukmani. Overnight stay at Dwarka.

Day 4DWARKA-PORBANDAR-SOMNATH (250 kms)

After breakfast drive to Porbandar(130 Kms/3 hrs) visit of Kirti temple known as house & born place of Mahatma Gandhi. In back side the house of Kasturba (wife of Gandhi) is there. Also visit to Gandhi museum, study room of Mahatma Gandhi in the Kirti temple. Later visit to Sudama temple & continue procced to Somnath and visit to Somnath temple – A lord shiva temple known as Jyotirlinga built by Moon God. Overnight stay at Somnath.

Day 5SOMNATH-DIU

Morning visit Bhalka Tirth & Triveni Tirth. Later proceed to Diu. The tiny island of Diu, situated off the southern tip of the Saurashtra (Kathiawad) peninsula of Gujarat, lapped by the Arabian Sea, is a paradise on Earth. The superb beaches, fort, mansions, churches and temples are its main attractions. A beautiful blend of sea, sand and sun, Diu is a God's gift to those in quest of a blessed land where the weary weight of this unintelligible world can, for a while, be lightened and the walking soul can hear the music of the nature.Visit of Diu Fort & beach, St. Paul Church, Diu Museum. Overnight stay at Diu.

Day 6DIU-SASAN GIR

After breakfast drive to Sasan Gir. Evening safari to Gir National Park. Sasan Gir Lion sanctuary is home of some 300 Asiatic Lions. Sasan Gir is only place in world (except African continent) where lion can be seen in its natural habitat. Overnight stay at Sasan Gir.

Day 7SASAN GIR-JUNAGARH-AHMEDABAD

After breakfast drive to Ahmedabad. En route visit to Junagarh, UPERKOT FORT-an ancient fort built by Chandr Gupta. The fort has been rebuilt & extended many times. Later visit to Ashokan Edicts, Mahabat Maqbara. The Ashoka’s Rock edict is on way of Girnar hill temple. The rock engraved with the Buddhist edicts of Ashoka. The edicts impart moral instruction on dharma, harmony, tolerance and peace. Arrival at Ahmedabad. Overnight stay at Ahmedabad.

Day 8AHMEDABAD-MOUNT-ABU (250 kms)

After breakfast proceed to Mount-Abu – the only hill station of Rajasthan (250 kms/5 hrs). En-route visit through Akshardham Temple - Akshardham is situated in the capital city of Gandhinagar. The magnificent temple is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. The complex of this temple is the largest in Gujarat. Arrival at Mount-Abu and check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Mount-Abu.

Day 9MOUNT-ABU-AHMEDABAD

Whole day sightseeing of Dilwara temple, Sunrise Palace, Adhar Devi temple & Nakki Lake, then proceed to Ahmedabad. Overnight stay at Ahmedabad.

Day 10Departure AHMEDABAD

In-time transfer to Airport/Railway station for onward journey
