The itinerary

6 days, with space for the unexpected.

Day 1Arrival - DIBRUGARH – ALONG

Arrival at Dibrugarh airport by Morning flight & transfer to Ferry Ghat & Cross the River Brahmaputra by country made ferry which takes 5 to 6 hrs in the Brahmaputra River to reach Along. The river Brahmaputra is the confluence of the Siang and Lohit river of Arunachal Pradesh. Along, the headquarter of west Saing district of Arunachal Pradesh, located at an altitude of 300m inhabitants of Adi(Gallong) tribes. Adi sub tribe which differ from each others like Adi( Gallong, minyong, pasi, padam, Bori, and Boker). Overnight stay in Along.

Day 2ALONG - DAPORIJO

After breakfast drive to Daporijo (180 kms / 6 ½ hrs drive). Daporijo, the headquarter of the Upper Subansri district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 600m is an inhabitant of Tagin tribes. En route visit to Hillmiri tribal villages. Overnight stay at Circuit House / tented / paying guest. (Very Very Basic)

Day 3DAPORIJO - ZIRO (ARUNACHAL PRADESH)

Morning drive to Ziro (170 kms / 5 ½ hrs drive). En-route visit Hill Miri villages. Ziro is a small picturesque destination with Pine and Bamboo groves, villages, a craft centre and Tarin Fish Farm which is located at a high altitude and also to see are the indigenous method of rice cultivation. The languages spoken here are Apatani, Nishi, Hindi, Assamese and English. Overnight stay at Ziro.

Day 4ZIRO

After breakfast full day sightseeing of Ziro, the headquarter of Lower Sabunsiri district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 1560m, is a plateau surrounded by Apatani tribal villages, Dibbo- Hija- Bulla- Hari and Hong village. Hong village the second biggest and most organised tribal villages in Asia. The uniqueness of Apatani tribe is tatoo in women & man and its nose plug in women. Overnight stay at Ziro.

Day 5ZIRO – NAMERI / TEZPUR

After breakfast drive to Nameri / Tezpur (280 kms / 8 hrs ). Overnight stay at Tezpur.

Day 6NAMERI / TEZPUR –GUWAHATI AIRPORT - Departure

After breakfast drive to Guwahati airport (200 Kms / 4 hrs drive) to connect flight for onward journey.
