Day by day

The itinerary

9 days, with space for the unexpected.

Day 1Arrival COCHIN

Arrival at Cochi Airport/Railway station. You will be greeted by our representative who will assist you to board your vehicle to Hotel. Check-in to the Hotel. Halfday city tour includes, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jew Street, Chinese fishing nets, Fort Kochi beach etc. Overnight stay at Cochi.

Day 2COCHIN-MUNNAR (150 kms)

After breakfast proceed to Munnar (150 kms/4 hrs). En route enjoy the hair pin scenic crossing roads, beautiful valleys, tea gardens and waterfalls. Arrival at Munnar and check-in to the Hotel. afternoon visit to Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3MUNNAR

After breakfast whole day sightseeing of Matupetty dam, Echo point, pallivasal hydro electry poject, Devikulam, world highest tea plantation etc. Overnight stay at MUNNAR.

Day 4MUNNAR-THEKKADY ( 130 kms)

After breakfast drive to Thekkady (Periyar W.L.S) (130 kms/3.5 hrs). En route enjoy the scenic beauty, tea gardens, dense woods, spice gardens etc. Arrival at Thekkady & check-in to the Hotel. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 5THEKKADY

After breakfast sightseeing of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The beautiful artificial lake formed by the Mulla Periyar dam across the Periyar river adds additional charm to the Park. Have a charming boat riding inside the lake and if you are lucky, you can see the wildlife at closure view. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 6ALLEPPEY/KUMARAKOM

After breakfast cruise through small narrow canals and see the Paddy fields, Coconut lagoons, Coir villages & day to day life of the local people, small water lodged town-ship to enjoy the scenic beauty and to get glimpse of the unspoiled rural life of Kerala. Evening free for independent activities. Overnight stay at House boat.

Day 7TRICHY – MADURAI (140 kms)

After breakfast, drive to Madurai (140 kms/2.5-3 hrs). EN ROUTE visit to Cocoanut Rope work. Afternoon free for individual activities. Overnight stat at Madurai.

Day 8ALLEPPEY/KUMARAKOM-COCHIN

After breakfast proceed to Cochin (64 kms/2 hrs). 2nd half free for independent activities.

Day 9Departure COCHIN

In time transfer to Airport/Railway station for onward journey.
